The Industry and Security Analysis Group (ISAG) within JOID provides analytical, technical, and program support to promote, grow, and protect the U.S. industrial base. ISAG's support spans the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Commerce, and other agencies to deliver critical decision support to national security leaders. Our team informs policy decisions, enables execution of comprehensive strategies and monitors and reports on the effectiveness of implementation. This enables senior leaders to execute strategies for developing and sustaining a robust industrial base that meets our nation's strategic resource objectives. We have an immediate need for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to provide onsite support at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA. The Business Intelligence Analyst will support the Global Investments and Economic Security mission to protect DoD/DoW equities from adversarial foreign investment risks at home and abroad by delivering financial and economic-focused national security risk analyses and mitigation proposals to decision-makers to address national security concerns. The Business Intelligence Analyst will provide financial, economic, and threat analysis support to develop a variety of analytic products. Will integrate subject matter expertise and market analysis, leveraging business intelligence tools to connect large, diverse data sources from government, commercial, and open sources to empower decision-making. Will research and assess foreign companies' business operations and foreign investment activities that may present national security considerations, as well as evaluate the competitiveness of U.S. industries and markets in critical and emerging technologies for the Department of Defense/Department of War, and will collaborate across relevant offices within the Department.
