Cardiology ICU Nurse Practitioner - Houston, TX (New Graduates Accepted)

Schedule: 12-hour Night shifts; 7 pm - 7 am (Paid for 40 hours)

Job Summary:
Position responsible for providing comprehensive patient care by systematic assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, and in-hospital follow-up, affecting direct patient care through the disease process according to the Texas Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements:

• AGACNP - Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner

• Current State of Texas RN/NP license

• Certification by ANCC, NCC, AANP, or AACN in specialty area

• 2+ years of RN or NP Critical Care experience (Cardiology preferred)

• New Graduate NPs must have 2+ years of ICU Critical Care RN experience

• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

• LVAD & ECMO experience preferred (training provided on devices)
