Job Description
The cradle-to-grave freight broker is responsible for landing and servicing freight shipping clients.
Duties include:
Making outbound cold calls to self-sourced leads (4+ hours/150+ calls per week)
Selling to and converting inbound leads to customers
Quoting spot shipments
Using load boards, Carrier 411 and other resources to book trucks for customer loads
Being the primary freight dispatcher and tracker for your loads
