Instrument Technician vacancy in Akron USA

We are a well-established industrial company located in Akron, seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in our production processes.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician
  • Proficiency with various types of instruments and control systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering preferred
  • Willingness to work with accommodation provided by the company
Responsibilities:
  • Install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, etc.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on instruments to ensure optimal functionality
  • Read technical drawings and schematics to determine instrument specifications and troubleshoot issues
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to identify solutions for complex problems
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to management
  • Train new technicians on proper instrument maintenance procedures
