Facility:

This facility is a regional hospital providing comprehensive healthcare services to the surrounding communities. The hospital features a Level 2 nursery with supportive hospital staff, market director, manager, and practice manager available. The facility utilizes Paragon EMR system and offers temporary privileges for qualified providers with clean histories.

Opportunity: Neonatology

This is an ongoing opportunity to join a pediatric department as a neonatologist to replace a retiring provider. The position offers a stable, long-term placement with comprehensive support in a Level 2 nursery setting.

Job Details:

• Start/Duration: August, 18, 2025- Ongoing
• Schedule: Call Only
• Inpatient
• Coverage includes inpatient rounding and call responsibilities
• Care for an average of 3 newborns with potential for up to 6 patients
• Level 2 nursery environment
• Rounding typically takes 2-4 hours
• On-call responsibilities with approximately 2-4 callbacks in a 24-hour shift
• Required skills include ventilation management (newborn and pediatric), intubation, central line placement, and various procedural competencies
• EMR: McKesson Paragon
• Active NC license required, BC Fellowship Preferred

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Paid Travel and Lodging.
