Job Description

Mandate :: Data engineer/Developer with Hadoop, Hive/SQL etc and became project manager /Delivery manager with strong tech in Data area would be the ideal match

Need a Service Delivery Manager who should have experience in projects like

• Data warehouse or lake implementations.
• BI and reporting platform rollouts.
• Migration of legacy data systems to the cloud.
• Data governance framework deployment

Strong understanding of data platforms (e.g., SQL, data warehouses, cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, GCP).

Should have more than 10+ years of experience and have extended experience in running projects end to end.

Requirements :

Project Planning & Execution

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
• Track progress and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate cross-functional teams including data engineers, data analysts, business intelligence, and product teams.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
• Facilitate meetings, provide updates, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Risk & Issue Management

• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Resolve project issues and conflicts as they arise, escalating when necessary.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure data governance, security, and quality standards are adhered to.
• Oversee testing, validation, and sign-off processes for data products and solutions.

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain clear documentation of project plans, decisions, risks, and lessons learned.
• Deliver regular status reports and dashboards to senior leadership and stakeholders.
