Job Description
Volt has partnered with a top company in Nashville to help identify multiple Stand Up Forklift Operators to start ASAP.
As a Stand Up Forklift Operator you will:
- Operate forklifts in a safe manner
- Be responsible for reading, understanding and following work instructions pertaining to the tasks of picking, transacting, cycle count and inventory.
- Pick and prepare parts in an efficient manner, meeting internal incremental deadlines.
- Build and pack out shipments, assuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Communicate professionally via email with Program Manager, Department Manager, Supervisor and customer contacts regarding the status of parts and shipments.
- Coordinate with offsite personnel for cycle count and inventory as necessary.
- Actively seek ways to improve processes.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Other duties as assigned by management
These positions are temp to hire. Hours are 2nd shift 4pm - 1:30am.
Requirements:
- 1 - 2 years of forklift experience - must have stand up specifically
- Be able to pass a 7 year criminal pre-employment background check and drug test
Pay Rate: 19-19.50/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
